Nottingham Trent University is inviting applications for Brenda Howe Africa scholarship for Ethiopian undergraduate students. Scholarships of up to a maximum of £1,000 are available in the form of a tuition fee reduction. To celebrate the award of UK University of the Year Masters Scholarships, we’ve launched some new scholarships for Ethiopian students holding an offer to study a full-time undergraduate and postgraduate taught a course with us in any subject.

Nottingham Trent University (NTU) is a public university in Nottingham, England. It was founded as a new university in 1992 from Trent Polytechnic (later Nottingham Polytechnic). Its roots go back to 1843 with the establishment of the Nottingham Government School of Design which still exists within the university today.


The University is one of the largest and most popular universities in the UK. Nearly 27,000 students study with them across three campuses in Nottingham.

Eligible Field of Study:

The scholarships are available for pursuing a full-time Undergraduate and postgraduate taught a course in any subjects.

Host Countries:

The scholarship is hosted by the Nottingham Trent University, England.

Eligible Countries:

Scholarship is open to students from Ethiopia.

Scholarship Benefits:

These opportunities have a value that includes the full tuition waiver for undergraduate for a period of 4 years and 50% full tuition waiver for a postgraduate program.

Eligibility for Brenda Howe Africa Scholarship:

To be eligible for consideration of Brenda Howe Africa scholarship,

  • applicants must have been offered a place on an eligible full-time undergraduate or full-time postgraduate course (excluding MBA, GDL, LPC, BPTC and exchange students).
  • be classed as overseas students for tuition fee purposes; and
  • have an African nationality.
  • must be a citizen of Ethiopia

-The benefits of their studies
