The Ministry is in receipt of communication from the Ministry of Foreign and Diaspora Affairs,
informing that the Algerian government is offering Two Hundred (200) undergraduate scholarship
opportunities for Kenyan students for the academic year 2024/2025.

Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum KCSE mean grade of B plain (plain).
- Must be 25 years and below.
- Completed school in the last 3 years.
- Have an original KCSE certificate.
Scholarship requirements
- Copy of birth certificate or National Identity Card (ID)
- A copy of passport. In case the passport is not yet ready, the applicant has to enclose a
copy of the payment receipt for the passport application pending the submission. - Four (04) recent passport photos.
- Medical certificate that attests to the absence of infectious and or contagious diseases.
- A copy and legalized translation (French or Arabic) of the High school certificate
NB: The scholarships granted by the Algerian government is partly funded, including

- Inscription fees: the student has only to pay a very symbolic fee that is also applied to the
Algerian students. - Accommodation will be at the university residences.
- Meals are offered at the university restaurants.
- University bus transportation.
- Access to the public health system on the same modalities, which are applied to the Algerian
citizens. - Quarterly allowance.
- One year language training kin French or in Arabic.

Ministry’s website (www.education.go.ke) fill and submit it with the above listed documents
required for application and consideration.
