We are recruiting to fill the position of:
Job Title: Graphic Designer
Location: Nigeria
Job Description
- We are an emerging name in the furniture making, interior and spacial management subsector.
- We are currently hiring for a creative graphics designer who has worked in the furniture / interior designs space for upward of two years experience.
- The ideal candidate must be up-to-date on current trends to interpret design briefs into high impact visuals.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, Interprete and translate designs and visualisation to produce expected end product.
- Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Corel Draw etc.)
- Create layouts including selection of colours, images, typefaces and style to enhance the readability of text and image to help deliver the message.
- Ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule.
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects with design specifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Arts, Design Communication or related field.
- 2 years of experience in graphic design in the wood and furniture industry is required.
- NYSC discharge certificate.
Required Skills:
- Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality.
- Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print and the web.
- Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
- Ability to interact, communicate and present ideas. Excellent eye for detail. Strong analytical skills.
- Up to date with industry leading software and technologies (In Design, Illustrator, Google Sketch up, Photoshop, Corel Draw etc.)
